The Iranian Defence Ministry has delivered a large number of indigenous high-precision ballistic missiles, Qiyam (Rise) 1, to the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

Qiyam 1 is the country’s first finless mass-produced surface-to-surface missile with liquid fuel, which cannot be detected by radars and air defence systems.

Iranian Defence Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said the delivery of the missile marked self-sufficiency being attained by the nation in producing different types of missiles.
