The French Air Force has received the fourth and final modernised E-3F AWACS aircraft from the Directorate General for Armaments (DGA).
The AWACS radar aircraft have been upgraded with an advanced communications system, radiolocation equipment, increased capacity for existing HF resources and existing V/UHF, as well as adapted operational mission software.
