AVIONICS CERTIFICATION AND INTEGRATION / INSTALLATION KITS

EMTEQ's expertise includes application engineered kits, A-kits, avionics upgrades and modifications for navigation, communication, surveillance and other systems. Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) equipment is also available. Services include comprehensive design, consultation and installation / technical support.

Their certification portfolio includes over 100 STCs, many with international agency certifications valid in the European Union and elsewhere.

RF COAX, ETHERNET, FIBER-OPTIC AND SPECIALTY CABLES

EMTEQ offers an extensive line of proprietary low-loss, lightweight aircraft-grade radio frequency coaxial cables, including 50Ω, 70Ω, 77Ω, 78Ω, 100Ω and 125Ω data-bus, Ethernet and fiber-optic cables. EMTEQ's cables are designed with ease of installation, maintenance and superior electrical performance in mind.

Designs meet or exceed FAA and OEM requirements for flammability, smoke and toxic-gas emissions as required.

EQUIPMENT MOUNTING TRAYS

Staff designers and drafters develop new or customize existing ARINC 404 / 600 and military, non-standard configurations to meet RTCA-DO-160, military specifications and OEM requirements. Options include several styles of front hold-downs and rear guide pins, shock-vibration isolators and cooling fans.

AIRCRAFT INTERIOR LIGHTING

Light Emitting Diode (LED) lighting technology is a high-quality, high-performance alternative to incandescent or fluorescent lighting for many reasons. EMTEQ's LED lighting units in particular are rugged, with low heat-emission and current draw. In many cases the LED color and luminosity can be easily controlled.

LED lights are lightweight, have an extremely low failure-rate and can be customized for almost any application or location on an aircraft or vehicle.

AIRCRAFT NIGHT VISION IMAGING SYSTEM

Operating at 28VDC and drawing 80% less current than incandescent lights, EMTEQ's LED Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) lighting incorporates advanced LED technology for longer-lived, more-capable cabin and cockpit systems.

Applications are appropriate for military, EMS, law enforcement and search-and-rescue operations. EMTEQ's NVIS is MIL-L-85762, MIL-STD-3009 and DO-160 compliant, and is available in NVIS green A, B, NVIS red and NVIS white.

AIRCRAFT EXTERIOR LIGHTING

Flight Components, an EMTEQ company, designs and certifies exterior lights which meet RTCA / DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 standards while also fulfilling requirements for EASA ETSO and FAA TSO certification and OEM specifications.

Systems include anti-collision, position, tail, wing-tip, NVG friendly and combination LED lighting assemblies. State-of-the-art optics and packaging allows for compact, utilitarian designs which can be readily customized.

Our value-added services include comprehensive program management, design substantiation, qualification testing, reports and analysis. EMTEQ conducts business from an FAA PMA approved facility which is also EN / JSIQ / AS9100:2004 approved.

As an FAA approved repair station, EMTEQ can issue return-to-service tags and forms 8130-3 and 337 for ARINC 404 / 600 trays, coax cable assemblies and many of their interior lighting products. Approval to issue EASA equivalent tags and forms is anticipated.
