Serco received the task order under the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Alliant 2 indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract.

The contract comes with a one-year base period and includes four option years, as well as an additional option for a six-month extension.

The company will help the AFCE in the implementation of TRIRIGA, an integrated workplace management system owned by IBM.

“TRIRIGA is designed to provide real-time information and analytics to help users prioritise projects.”

Serco Group chief executive Rupert Soames said: “The award builds on Serco’s extensive experience using TRIRIGA to deliver workforce and asset lifecycle management solutions to numerous US Federal Government and other customers. We look forward to supporting the USAF in delivering capabilities and systems, which are critical to their mission.”

The NexGen IT programme is expected to help enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the AFCE community.

USAF plans to implement the TRIRIGA system across 170 installations supported by it globally.

The process has started and the target is expected to be completed by 2023.

TRIRIGA is designed to provide real-time information and analytics to help users prioritise projects. The workplace management system also supports asset management lifecycle.

Most of the contract work will be delivered at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama, US.

Last month, Serco won a contract extension with the US Air Force (Europe) (USAFE) to continue the provision of transportation and supply services at three UK Royal Air Force (RAF) sites.
