The US Air Force has awarded a contract to Boeing for the Constant Resolution Visual System (CRVS) upgrade in F-15C Mission Training Centres (MTC).
Under the $20m contract, the company will provide and install the CRVS visual system at 12 MTCs located at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, US, Royal Air Force Lakenheath, UK, and Kadena Air Base, Japan.

The CRVS is equipped with off-the-shelf projectors, joint helmet-mounted cueing system and night vision goggles to provide 360° training and is compatible with various fast jet and rotary wing cockpits.
Work under the contract will begin in October 2012 and end by January 2013; training will begin in February 2013.
