The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) has received the first of ten modernised C130 Hercules transport aircraft from ST Aerospace.

The upgraded C130 aircraft includes a modernised avionics suite to improve its operational readiness, dispatch reliability and operational efficiency.

Compliant to Global Air Traffic Management standards, the new avionics suite will enable the C130 to navigate safely, efficiently and accurately through CNS/ATM-regulated airspace worldwide.

The avionics suite will also reduce the aircraft’s response time in emergency humanitarian and disaster relief operations.

The modernised aircraft will include an indigenously designed digital glass cockpit with ergonomic man-machine interfaces that will help to reduce crew workload and operational fatigue.
