The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) has taken delivery of its eighth and final King Air interim light transport aircraft at No 38 Squadron Base.

The King Air, powered by two turboprop engines, is equipped with modern avionics and includes a glass cockpit.

The aircraft will transport up to eight passengers, and provide an efficient and reliable platform for No 38 Squadron to support the Australian Defence Force.

RAAF No 38 Squadron took delivery of the first three King Air in November 2009.
