Raven ES-05, a high-performance, premium fire control radar, has higher reliability than mechanically scanned radars.

As part of the programme, Selex and Saab demonstrated radar modes in flight and integrated radar into the weapon system, proving real capability in very short timescales.

In the air-to-ground capability, Raven 1000P produced excellent medium and high-resolution SAR imagery at long range.

Selex Galileo was awarded the contract by Saab to supply two key sensors, the Raven ES-05 and the infrared search and track (IRST) system SKYWARD-G for the programme.
