Boeing will jointly work with RAAF’s Tactical Fighter Systems Project Office (TFSPO) on the project.
TFSPO engineering support manager David Martinek said that the effectiveness of Boeing support resulted from its expertise in managing the configuration of instructions for continued airworthiness within a common source database environment.
Other services under the contract include platform maintenance, modifications and upgrades at RAAF Base Williamtown, and supply chain services including spares manufacturing and repairs at Brisbane.
