CAE has received two contracts from Airbus Military to provide training devices for the A330 multirole tanker transport (MRTT) aircraft to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Royal Saudi Air Force.
The contract includes the design and manufacture of a A330 MRTT part-task trainer (PTT) and a CAE Simfinity integrated procedures trainer for both air forces.

The PTT is a cost-effective training device designed to train aircrew or maintenance staff on a particular task associated with the aircraft.
CAE Simfinity 2D desktop and laptop trainers allow aircrew to gain practical experience with airframe systems, engines and avionics, and weapon systems before training on a full-mission simulator.
CAE is currently developing similar training devices for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).
