The craft would replace the country’s 54 existing F-5 Tiger jets, although GSoA claims that it would be expensive and an unnecessary buy.

The critics, however, feel that the initiative would compromise the nation’s security.

The Swiss Government has been accused of leading the country towards the Nato alliance by the group.

The government had previously put off the decision of the number and type of aircraft to acquire till next year.
