Assure6 is a deep packet inspection (DPI) security protection system that safeguards IPv6 traffic and is deployed in multiple Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.
Salient’s cybersecurity leader Lisa Donnan said that the company would partner with the USAF to meet the goal of securely implementing internet protocol version 6 (IPv6) by 2014.
“Our Assure6 intrusion prevention system will help mitigate the vulnerabilities of implementing IPv6 and ultimately protect networks,” she added.
