AAI Test & Training has received three contract modifications from the US Air Force (USAF) for manufacturing the joint service electronic combat systems tester (JSECST).

The $11.5m contract modifications are for a total of 32 JSECST systems for Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, US.

The new JSECST systems are designed for fast and accurate testing of electronic warfare (EW) and avionics systems for mission readiness.

The systems are used not only by the US Air Force, Navy, Army and Marine Corps, but also by allied nations.

JSECST, designated as the standard flight line EW test system, is used with aircraft platforms including the A-10 Thunderbolt II, F-15 Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon.
