Garuda president director Emirsyah Satar said the maintenance for the planes would be jointly undertaken by the Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) and the air force.
The transfer of ownership is based on an agreement signed between Garuda and the Indonesian Air Force last year, according to the Jakarta Post.
