The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an advanced aerial combat aircraft, which provides 4th generation fighter aircraft capabilities.
As an EASA-certified Part-145 organisation and as a multiple original equipment manufacturer (OEM) approved repair centre, APELLA can support its customers with expert on-aircraft maintenance services such as structural and welding repairs, painting, and non-destructive testing, as well as multiple aviation component maintenance services such as wheels, brakes, batteries, DC starter/generators, galleys, missile seeker coolant tanks, and pressurised bottles. APELLA is also capable of manufacturing special tooling, aviation equipment and scaffolding, supported by its AS9100C certification.

APELLA consistently demonstrates proficient execution of military and commercial contracts, supporting more than 25 airline operators and air forces with a combined fleet of over 220 aircraft throughout Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
In a 2,500m² self-owned aviation maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility, located less than three miles from the Athens International Airport, APELLA has been experiencing continual growth since its inception in 1998, with a diverse management team and a workforce that averages more than 18 years of hands-on aviation industry experience.
We offer a wide range of on-aircraft maintenance services focused towards rapid deployment to the customer’s site.
APELLA’s structural team has been designed to have high flexibility and mobility in order to provide in-house and on-site structural and welding repair expertise at a moment’s notice. Experienced personnel with more than 25 years of experience in the field can provide, for both military and commercial aircraft, quality sheet metal and composite repair solutions covering structural repair manual (SRM) repairs, crash damage and emergency repairs, service bulletin and airframer’s or operator’s engineering order application. APELLA’s engineering team can provide detailed engineering services on military platforms, specialising in C-130 and F-16 structural works and upgrades.
Our non-destructive testing (NDT) team can provide worldwide support, having expert certified Level 3 and Level 2 inspectors conduct in-house and on-site inspections of aircraft and helicopter structures and components with a variety of portable equipment following the EN4179/NAS410 standards. Our team is certified to conduct visual (VT), magnetic particle (MT), fluorescent penetrant (PT), eddy current (ET), and ultrasonic (UT) inspections either in our specialist in-house laboratories or on-site, as appropriate.
APELLA’s painting team consists of expert personnel that can conduct minor and major aircraft painting, including logo placement.

Our combined engineering teams can design customised solutions according to customer specifications, and manufacture a wide variety of aviation equipment such as special production-line tooling for aircraft structures, engine components, special-purpose aviation and ground support equipment, jigs, and scaffolding in accordance with ISO9001:2008 and AS9100C standards.
