Trelleborg has more than 120 years of experience with rubber material development. Rubber is an extremely versatile material with unique physical properties, making it ideal for many applications. With rubber we seal, damp and protect critical applications in demanding environments.

Firestop™ is our PFP material that protects structures from exceeding critical temperature limits. Firestop™ protects equipment from vibrations, collisions, explosions and even earthquakes. Firestop™ is tested to withstand a blast up to 2.1 bars, jet fire resistant for more than two hours. It is a non-toxic material even during fire. Rubber is ideal for corrosion and wear protection of steel structures. Rubber reduce and/or eliminate structural noise. Maintenance free, with a design life for more than 40 years.
