Sital embeds its vast experience and proficiency in its products, which include the widely used Mil-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 IP cores, components, avionics communication boards and bus testers, as well as less commonly used protocols like H009, WB194 and French DigiBus. Sital also provides CAN bus testing devices and applications for the automotive industry.
Sital’s expertise in bus technologies improves robustness and efficiency at lower cost, saving space and resource utilisation. Our customers include the world’s leading commercial and military avionics companies, space agencies, and automobile designers and manufacturers.
MIL-STD 1553, IP cores, components and avionics bus applications
Sital’s proficiency has been built up over more than 20 years. The founders are veterans of the Israeli Air Force and are experts in MIL-STD 1553 and other bus applications. Working with F15 and F16 military avionics and numerous applications, Sital extended its world-class expertise to commercial and other military aircraft via myriad challenging and highly-successful projects, with products installed and operating on thousands of aircraft around the world.
Sital now offers a number of solutions for its customers, including 1553 IP cores for FPGA in various configurations and back-end interfaces, 1553 components and various form factors of boards and 1553 testers.
Combining our expertise in Mil-STD-1553 with comprehensive knowledge in VHDL and FPGA development, Sital provides the best-in-class IP cores for 1553. All our IP cores can work at any FPGA (Altera, Xilinx, Lattice, Actel, Aeroflex, QuickLogic), using any clock frequency and utilise a very small number of gates.
The 1553 PMC HyperBoard is based on Sital’s proven 1553, H009 and WB-194 (WMUX) IP cores, loaded into an FPGA (field programmable gate array) component and discrete components transceivers. The board can be programmed by Sital, allowing the flexibility to support a number of configurations and protocols using the same hardware.
The MultiComBox unit provides full MIL-STD-1553B testing, simulation and bus analysis capability in a compact self-contained unit. It connects to the host systems via a USB 2.0 interface and is provided with ‘C’ driver library and Windows GUI, providing a user-friendly software tool for all 1553 set-ups, data management and storage.
CAN bus testing and solutions for the automotive industry
Working with leading automotive manufacturers, Sital has applied its avionics and aerospace testing expertise to the rapidly-growing automobile-bus market. CAN bus applications are making major advances based on Sital’s extraordinary ability to apply its capabilities and products to the ever-increasing demands of automotive bus applications.
In recent years, Sital has developed unique technologies and products for detecting serial-bus faults during operation. This patented technology is capable of pin-pointing the location of a fault, even on intermittent faults of disconnections and short-circuits without interfering with the normal bus operation.
Projects for avionics and aerospace manufacturers
In addition to its development and manufacture of hardware and software products, Sital continues to undertake projects for North American, European, and Asian aerospace, avionics and automotive manufacturers and designers.
Sital’s formidable customer list includes leading military and commercial organizations throughout the world. Among them are NASA, BAE Systems, Honeywell, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Thales, ECIL (India), Siemens, Aselsan, Elbit, IAI (Israeli Aerospace Industries), Rafael and many more.
