Tyto Athene has secured a Network-Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) 2 task order from the US Air Force (USAF).
The contract will see the company provide enhanced 911 (E911) sustainment services, hardware sustainment and digital logging recorder (DLR) sustainment services at several sites.
The services will support the USAF, the Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs).
Work under the contract also includes continuous operations concerning all E911 and related systems.
These include the latest Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) and APL certified software patches, software revisions and hardware servicing E911 systems support, as well as hardware replacement to the lowest replaceable unit.
The company will also provide repair and return (R&R) hardware sustainment to include logistics support, remote support services for escalation of issues using Tyto’s Network Operations Center (NOC) and delivery of skilled personnel as and when needed to ensure reliability in operations.
As a prime contractor, Tyto said that it supported this crucial global airforce mission for multiple generations of the programme contract.
Earlier this month, Tyto Athene signed an agreement to buy AT&T Government Solutions (GSI), which comprises AT&T’s Department of Defense IT professional services business.
Based in the US, Tyto Athene is a full-service systems integrator engaged in the design, installation, and support of complex voice, data, and security networks.
The company provides services for the federal government, the US Department of Defense (DoD), state and local governments, communities, and organisations across the US and worldwide.
