Salient Federal Solutions has joined forces with STS Systems Integration (SSI) to provide English language training (ELT) to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).
SSI received a $2.8m firm-fixed-price contract to provide ELT to RSAF at Sheppard Air Force Base (AFB) in Texas, US, over the next two years.
Specifically, the contract calls for the provision of ELT for up to 200 RSAF students as part of the master training plan that supports training for the service’s F-15SA fleet modernisation programme.
Salient Federal Solutions chief executive officer Brad Antle said: "We are excited for the opportunity to provide training services at every level of the pipeline for more than 5,000 RSAF technicians required to support the Fleet Modernization Programme.
"It is strategically significant for the USAF to properly train the RSAF and successful English training is the essential first step for every person involved."
The students graduating from the programme would proceed to technical training at Sheppard AFB, Keesler AFB, Mississippi, and Seymour Johnson AFB, South Carolina.
