Boeing has selected Goodrich Corporation to provide maintenance services for the US Air Force (USAF) C-17 Globemaster III aircraft fleet landing gear systems.
Under the agreement, the company will also train personnel to refurbish aircraft landing gear systems at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, US.
The agreement includes a total of 17 aircraft operated by the USAF and foreign customers worldwide.
Boeing C-17 sustainment purchasing director Jim Fullaway said the contract will provide OEM-level support for the C-17 programme, as Goodrich is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the C-17 landing gear system.
