Kazakhstan's Ministry of Defence has placed an order with Russian Helicopters for four Mi-35M multi-role combat helicopters.
Scheduled to be delivered in 2018, the new Mi-35Ms are intended to replace Kazakhstan’s existing fleet of military helicopters.
Thales Group has agreed to modernise Master long-range surveillance radars for the Swiss Air Force, under a $79.08m-worth contract.
Awarded by the Switzerland Federal Office for Defence Procurement (armasuisse), the contract will require Thales to develop new signal and data processing, modernise the antenna system, and conduct testing and qualification of the radars.
