L-3 National Security Solutions has secured a $445m contract from the US Air Force to provide modernisation, maintenance and operations for the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) until 2023.
The AFSCN provides command and control for the satellites.
L-3 National Security Solutions was recently acquired by CACI International.
Aerospace and defence company Airbus Group has announced that it has raised $1.21bn from a bond sale.
The bonds have been issued through a public offering and are due June 2021.
UTC Aerospace Systems has received a contract from Pilatus Aircraft Ltd to provide TERPROM terrain referenced navigation system for 49 PC-21 training aircraft of the Australian Defense Force (ADF).
Under the terms of the contract, UTC Aerospace Systems will also supply simulator software for the ground-based training equipment.
