The US Air Force has awarded a contract valued $55m to Harris Corporation for the sustainment of its electronic warfare system.

Harris will perform redesign work on one line replaceable unit of ALQ-172 self-protection system to defend B-52 strategic bombers and C-130 Combat Talon military transport aircrafts against radar-guided threats.

Schafer Vallecitos Laboratories Inc. has won a $90.08m-worth contract to provide non-personal services for the nuclear treaty monitoring mission of the US Air Force Technical Application Center.

The US Air Combat Command has awarded a one-year contract modification to PAE Aviation and Technical Services LLC to support aerial target system testing.

The modification, valued $14.94m, will allow PAE to provide functionality and quality assurance services to support testing of air-to-air missiles and fighter aircraft.

Cobham Aerospace Communications has been contracted by Beechcraft Defense Company for the supply of digital control management systems (DCOMS).

Cobham's DCOMS audio systems to be delivered under the contract will be installed on 10 Beechcraft T-6C military training aircraft operated by UK Military Flying Training System programme.
