The US Air Force has awarded a $499m-worth contract to Aurora Flight Sciences to support the Aerospace Systems Air Platform Technology Research (ASAPTR) programme.

Aurora Flight Sciences will conduct research for affordable and revolutionary troop capabilities.

The work under the contract is scheduled for completion by 2025.

Grove US LLC has won a contract worth $121.89m to supply commercial cranes to the US Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.

Awarded by the US Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, the contract is scheduled to be completed by August 2022.

Rockwell Collins has secured a subcontract from CAE to supply visual display systems for the French Air Force.

The contractor will deliver two Spectraview visual display systems for installation onto the French Air Force’s Pilatus PC-21 simulators.

The contract is part of the French Air Force’s Formation Modernisée et Entrainement Différencié des Equipages de Chasse (FOMEDEC) programme.
