Cubic Global Defense (CGD) has secured a contract to continue to provide air adviser training at the US Air Force (USAF) Expeditionary Center.
The air advisers work with partner nations in support of Combatant Commands (CCMDs), their respective Air Components, Headquarters Air Force (HAF) and Major Commands (MAJCOMs).
Under the $6.2m follow-on deal, Team Cubic, comprising of Language Directions; Marton Technologies and Fae Vectus, will continue providing classroom and scenario-based training on core skills that are applicable to all air advisers.
The contract will also see Team Cubic provide various types of education and training requirements organised into two pillars such as core knowledge; and language, region and culture (LRC).
CGD president Dave Buss said: “Recent turmoil in different regions of the world highlights the need for qualified, competent and well-trained warfighters with various competencies during expeditionary combat.
“Cubic will continue to strengthen our working relationship with the USAF Expeditionary Center as we provide responsive and effective training that prepares air advisers to operate in complex and uncertain combat environments.”
The follow-on contract will come into effect this October.
Cubic is the incumbent contractor currently providing Air Advisor Academic instructors and role players to the USAF Expeditionary Center.
The USAF Expeditionary Center provides advanced mobility and expeditionary combat support training and prepares air advisers and other airmen to work with partner nations facing multi-faceted peacetime and wartime operations.
