The Canadian Air Force has awarded a contract to Atlantis Systems Eduplus (ASE) for the development of a job performance system for the fleet of CH146 Griffon tactical helicopters.

Under the three-year contract, ASE will support technicians during the removal, installation and functional testing of the CH146 Griffon Mission Kits.

The system will allow technicians to receive instructions and practice their on-the-job tasks in a 3D virtual environment.

ASE vice-president and general manager Carl Daniels said that the system would decrease a technician’s time to proficiency, and allow them to perform their job more efficiently and safely.
