The Ghanaian Air Force (GAF) will soon take delivery of Falcon 900EX aircraft to boost the air force’s existing fleet.
Chief of air staff Air Vice Marshall Michael Samsom-Oje told the Ghana News Agency that the aircraft would be delivered with a package of infrastructural support including hangars and ground support equipment.
The air force will prepare its bases to take delivery of the new platform, while training of crews including pilots, engineers, suppliers and flight attendants will soon operate the Falcon.
Samsom-Oje said that the first batch of pilots had departed for the Falcon ground and simulator training, according to the Ghana News Agency.
