The Imperial Iranian Air Force (IIAF) has received ten domestically built helicopters to boost its defensive capabilities.

Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said the Iranian Armed Forces had received ten Toufan (storm) units, according to the Ahlul Bayt News Agency.

The helicopter is equipped with sophisticated weapons systems including anti-tank missiles, rocket-launchers and 20mm cannons.

It will be used for naval and ground operations.
