The US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) Ramstein Air Base in Germany has received a new Super Hercules C-130 J jet from Lockheed Martin.
The C-130J is an advanced tactical airlifter capable of carrying out combat delivery, air-to-air refuelling, special operations, disaster relief and humanitarian missions.

The airlifter will add the capability to the Ramstein Air Base that US and its European partners need.
The delivery is the eighth C-130J for the base, which will receive ten C-130Js by the end of 2009 and four more in 2010.
