Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) will support environmental restoration, remediation and construction programmes for the US Air Force Centre for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE).
The AFCEE provides comprehensive expertise to protect, preserve, restore, develop and sustain environmental and installation resources of the US.
Under the contract, SAIC will compete for task orders to provide a range of construction and engineering services including conceptual design, construction, demolition, repair, operation and maintenance to support environmental restoration/remediation efforts.
The multiple-award contract has an eight-year period of performance and a maximum value of $3bn for all awardees.
Work will be performed at the military installations.
