The US Air Force’s Air Mobility Command (AMC) has awarded a contract to CSC to provide applications infrastructure and systems support services.

CSC’s services to the air force include information assurance, development testing, configuration management and training for AMC’s command and control system.

Systems and programmes within the command and control system include the advanced computer flight plan, consolidated air mobility planning system, global air transportation execution system, global command and control system and global decision support system.

The one-year contract has three one-year options that brings the total value of the contract to about $50m.

Harris Corporation, Northrop Grumman, and TRI-COR Industries will team up with CSC for the project.
