Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has been awarded a contract to offer force protection security services and support to the US Air Force and other defence sites across the world.
Under the contract, SAIC will provide services to support integrated base defences, including integrated use of tactics, techniques, procedures and technology, area intrusion detection, access control and other capabilities.
Tasks comprise design, installation, testing, training and maintenance of integrated base defence physical security systems.
The five-year contract has been awarded to multiple contractors and has a total ceiling value of $495m.
The project will be managed by the 642nd Electronic Systems Squadron at Hanscom Air Force Base.
