Lockheed to Train US Air Force F-16 Pilots

Lockheed Martin will provide pilot training for the F-16 under new contracts with the US Air Force’s Air Education Training Command and the Weapons Systems Simulator Training & Support Contract. The contracts, worth a total of $33m, also include academic instruction and assessment,

Lockheed Martin will provide pilot training for the F-16 under new contracts with the US Air Force’s Air Education Training Command and the Weapons Systems Simulator Training & Support Contract.

The contracts, worth a total of $33m, also include academic instruction and assessment, courseware development, simulator and training device instruction and training management support for the fighter and its variants.

The company will provide training and support at the Luke, Lackland and Kelly bases.
