US Air Force Europe (USAFE) has awarded a follow-on contract to L-3 Communications to provide maintenance and intelligence analysis support for government owned computer software.

Under a total contract potential of $375m, USAFE will be supplied with a range of advisory and assistance services (A&AS), including engineering and technical services, management and professional support, and studies, analysis and evaluation services.

The five-year contract comprises of a base year with the option for an additional four years. The services will be provided to the headquarters of the European Command and subordinate commands across Europe.

L-3 has received the first two task orders worth $14.4m under this contract to provide A&AS to the Joint Intelligence Operations Center-Europe Analytic Center (JAC) in the UK and at the Warrior Preparation Center (WPC) in Germany.

The follow-on contract follows the current A&AS contact given to the L-3 division.
