Norway has requested a possible sale of procurement and installation of various aircraft support systems for four Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) P-3C aircraft and associated equipment from the US.

The proposed sale includes four AN/USQ-78B acoustic processor technology refresh (APTR), 4 AN/ASQ-227 aircraft mission computers, and two tactical mobile acoustic support systems on P-3C aircraft.

The foreign military sale request also involves spare and repair parts, support and test equipment, personnel training and training equipment, and technical and logistics support services.

Lockheed Martin is expected to be the prime contractor for the programme.

The value of the proposed sale deal is estimated at $95m.
