The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency has notified Congress of a possible foreign military sale to provide base services for German Air Force Tornado aircraft operations.

Under the estimated $300m sale, Germany has also requested for the continuation of base services at Holloman Air Force Base (AFB), New Mexico, US, and includes associated equipment, ammunition, parts, training and logistical support.

The base services will also provide munitions that include 720 mk82, 135 mk84, and five target drone BQM 167.

Holloman AFB is the only location used by the German Air Force to train its aircrews in Tornado aircraft operations and tactics.

The sale has no prime contractor and no known offset agreements.
