Science Applications International (SAIC) has won a delivery order worth more than $89m to support the US Air Force (USAF) deputy chief of staff for operations, plans and requirements, strategic plans and policy division’s (AF/A5XP) integrated air and missile defence objectives.
Under the five-year period of performance deal, the company will provide professional and information technology (IT) services to upgrade the capabilities of the air force to combat weapons of mass destruction.
The company will also support implementation and compliance of international treaties and agreements, arms control monitoring and space policy development MCLEAN.
The US General Services Administration Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) awarded the contract under the mission-oriented business integration services (MOBIS) and information technology schedule 70 contracts.
