The US Air Force (USAF) has awarded TASC a contract to support the concept development division of the Development Planning Directorate.
Under the contract awarded by the USAF Space and Missile Systems Center, TASC will provide the division – known as XRD – with engineering, analysis and concept development support.
The one-year, $9m contract calls for supporting ten functional areas, including concept development, modelling simulation and analysis, war game simulation, and programme management and integration.
TASC Mission Engineering senior vice-president Pat Talty said, “XRD is responsible for providing a host of planning services for future space and missile systems, from conducting engineering studies to designing the strategy that ensures the right technology investment and development.”
TASC has teamed up with Integrity Applications, MCR Federal, ManTech International, A2 Consulting and Element Consulting Group for the contract.
