The Namibian Air Force will receive a Cheetah helicopter from India-based Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) during Aero India 2011.

HAL Chairman Ashok Nayak said the light combat helicopter (LCH) would also make its first flight during Aero India.

The second prototype, which will be weaponised, will be unveiled too.

The Cheetah helicopter is an attack variant of the HAL-manufactured Dhruv, which has been inducted into the Indian armed forces, reports Brahmand.com.
