Serbia and Denmark have signed a bilateral military agreement under which the Serbian Air Force will be trained by Denmark to participate in international missions.

Danish Ministry representative Milorad Peric said the Danish Defence Ministry will support the Serbian Air Force in training for search and rescue missions.

Denmark will also help with logistics training of Serbian defence system members for participation in peacekeeping operations.

The cooperation treaty encompasses 30 activities, B92 reports quoting media sources.

Denish Defence Minister Gitte Lillelund Bech said Denmark supported Serbia in its EU integration, and stressed Serbia’s significance for security in the Balkans.
