Integral Systems’ Military and Intelligence Group (MIG) has completed the factory acceptance testing (FAT) of the US Air Force rapid attack identification, detection and reporting system (RAIDRS) block 10 (RB-10) programme.

RAIDRS, a ground-based defensive counterspace programme, provides event detection, characterisation, geolocation and electromagnetic interference (EMI) reporting for critical satellite communications systems, directly supporting combatant commanders.

The successful testing paves the way for the system’s deployment phase, providing the USAF with greater counterspace capabilities.

Integral Systems’ RAIDRS programme manager David Conway said the system will help the US Military better detect, locate and categorise interference against its space assets.

The USAF’s 16th Space Control Squadron (SPCS) operates RAIDRS.
