BAE Systems has delivered two F/A-18 Hornets to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), as part of the air force’s deeper maintenance support contract.
The BAE Systems Australia fast jet support maintenance team and its partner, L-3 MAS Canada, delivered the Hornets to the Williamtown facility.
BAE, in cooperation with the DMO’s Tactical Fighter Systems Programme Office, is implementing the smart maintenance concept as part of the strategic reform programme (SRP) on the Hornets.
BAE Systems and L-3 MAS Canada is providing deeper maintenance and modification support for all 71 Australian F/A-18 Hornet fighters since 2009.
