Lockheed Martin has received a $65m task order to provide information technology support to the US Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC) directorate of logistics.

Under the contract, Lockheed will provide IT infrastructure services and sustainment, programme management, as well as software and database development including management to the AMC.

The company will also provide programming and subject matter expertise for IT related issues.

The contract consists of one base year and four option years and is a task order under the GSA Alliant indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity vehicle.

Lockheed staff are located across 17 AMC bases to provide IT support to aircraft maintenance groups, as well as desktop and network support to AMC headquarters.
