Sweden’s aerospace, defence & security industry registered a 2.2% rise in IT hiring activity in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 22.63% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 28.59% share in November 2021, recording a decrease of 7.84% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Sweden’s aerospace, defence & security industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.96% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Sweden’s aerospace, defence & security industry in November 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 73.47% in November 2021, registering a 23.4% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 10.2% share, a flat growth over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 8.16%, registering a 100% rise from October 2021.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 4.08%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five aerospace, defence & security companies in Sweden’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Sweden’s aerospace, defence & security industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
The Boeing posted 23 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a drop of 30.3% over the previous month, followed by Saab with 23 jobs and a 21.05% growth. Huntington Ingalls Industries with 2 IT jobs and Teledyne Technologies with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 66.67% decrease.
Mid Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Mid Level jobs held a share of 53.06%, down by 3.7% from October 2021. Junior Level positions with a 36.73% share, registered a decline of 25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.2% share, flat growth over October 2021.
