The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.75% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 20.13% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.05% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Raytheon Technologies IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Raytheon Technologies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 44.15% in September 2022, and a 23.77% rise over August 2022, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 32.75% in September 2022, and registered growth of 40.88%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.47% in September 2022, a 6.6% drop from August 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Raytheon Technologies
North America emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 94.3% share, which marked a 27.72% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 4.09%, registering a 31.71% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 1.46% share and a 9.09% drop over August 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.15% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 93.57% share in September 2022, a 28% growth over August 2022. India featured next with a 2.63% share, down 43.75% over the previous month.
Mid Level jobs lead Raytheon Technologies IT hiring activity in September 2022
Mid Level jobs held a share of 47.51%, up by 0.62% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 29.09% share, a growth of 55.47% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Junior Level job ads with a 21.93% share, up 44.23% over August 2022.
