US-based company Northrop Grumman’s IT hiring rose 2.0% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.3% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 24.85% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 1.01% growth over the last three-month average share.
Computer and Information Research Scientists tops Northrop Grumman IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Northrop Grumman, Computer and Information Research Scientists emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 39.75% in August 2022, and a 22.33% rise over July 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 37.85% in August 2022, and registered a decline of 3.23%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 16.09% in August 2022, an 8.51% rise from July 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Northrop Grumman
North America emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 98.58% share, which marked a 9.46% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 0.79%, registering a 64.29% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 0.63% share and a flat growth over July 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 98.58% share in August 2022, a 9.46% growth over July 2022. The UK featured next with a 0.79% share, down 64.29% over the previous month. Australia recorded a 0.47% share, a decline of 25% compared with July 2022.
Mid Level jobs lead Northrop Grumman IT hiring activity in August 2022
Mid Level jobs held a share of 60.09%, up by 8.24% from July 2022. Junior Level positions with a 25.24% share, a decline of 4.76% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.2% share, up 32.35% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.47%, recording a month-on-month increase of 50%.
