France-based company Thales’s IT hiring increased 79.1% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 69.91% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 20.27% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 1.07% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Thales IT hiring in July 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Thales, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 67.78% in July 2021, and a 272.19% growth over June 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 12.93% in July 2021, and registered a 275% increase. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 9.59% in July 2021, a 161.76% rise from June 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Thales

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 61.42% share, which marked a 307.14% growth over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 22.63%, registering a 150% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 13.25% share and a 232.43% growth over June 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.62% and a month-on-month increase of 150%.Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.08%, registering a 66.67% rise over the previous month.

France commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 25.22% share in July 2021, a 303.45% growth over June 2021. India featured next with a 9.7% share, up 95.65% over the previous month.Canada recorded a 7.76% share, an increase of 278.95% compared with June 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Thales IT hiring activity in July 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.72%, up by 238.74% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.84% share, a growth of 221.21% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.11% share, up 312.5% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.32%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
