US-based company L3Harris Technologies IT hiring rose 38.1% in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 24.73% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 25.57% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 3.69% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops L3Harris Technologies IT hiring in August 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by L3Harris Technologies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.01% in August 2021, and an 85.45% rise over July 2021, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 24.33% in August 2021, and registered growth of 80.23%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.22% in August 2021, a 76.92% rise from July 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at L3Harris Technologies

North America emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 99.06% share, which marked an 83.97% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 0.78%, registering a 37.5% month-on-month decline. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 0.16% share and a flat growth over July 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 98.9% share in August 2021, a 91.49% growth over July 2021. The UK featured next with a 0.78% share, down 37.5% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 0.16% share, a decline of 92.86% compared with July 2021.

Mid Level jobs lead L3Harris Technologies IT hiring activity in August 2021

Mid Level jobs held a share of 39.09%, up by 23.88% from July 2021. Junior Level positions with a 30.77% share, a growth of 75% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 29.83% share, up 341.86% over July 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.31%, recording a month-on-month decline of 33.33%.
