Notably, corporate governance was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q2 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of sharing economy and advanced materials, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the aerospace, defence & security industry, Boeing had the greatest increase in references for corporate governance in Q2 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 148 corporate governance-related sentences in the company's filings - 6% of all sentences - and an increase of 100% in Q2 2023 compared with Q2 2022. MTU Aero Engines’s mentions of corporate governance rose by 100% to 122 and Raytheon Technologies’s by 100% to 48 and Safran’s by 100% to 35 and Leidos’s by 100% to 5.
