Static frequency converters for military use

We supply the Estado Maior da Força Aérea (Portuguese Air Force) with frequency converters, along with other Portuguese companies, with custom-made power solutions.

Sinepower's static frequency converters transform the source power according to client requests. Specific input voltage and frequency is converted into a different output voltage and frequency at the client's preference.

Sinepower’s general power units (GPUs) have been specifically designed with power factor correction.

Our electronic voltage regulators are used within power quality applications, as in comparison to the mechanical voltage regulator, speed and performance advantages produce a better fit.

Our lift inverters specifically supply mains power to emergency evacuation lifts in the event of failure.

Sinepower’s GPU and DC units were designed with Powerfactor correction to guarantee a perfect sinusoidal input current from 25% to 150% load and a low THDi (less than 1.5%). The 28VDC offers a solid-state ground power supplies that range from 300 A continuous to 1200 A Peak load and 600 A continuous to 2400 A Peak load.

Sinepower offers 28VDC solid-state ground power supplies that range from 800A continuous to 1500A per peak load for up to ten seconds.

Sinepower’s static frequency converter units (SINE33I-SFC) guarantee high-quality, clean, efficient and secure electrical power supplies by transforming the grid electricity to the suitable load frequency.

Our converters guarantee a sinusoidal voltage wave form with low total harmonic distortion (THD) (less than 3%) to supply the output load.

Sinepower SFCs have been designed for shore to ship applications and vice-versa, and are implemented in various military purposes.

Electronic voltage regulators for stable airforce power supplies

Sinepower’s electronic voltage regulators is the optimal solution for saturated and highly unstable power supplies where frequent fluctuations in the voltage occur.

Voltage stabilisers guarantee stable voltage to sensitive loads.

Our EVRs comprise voltage stabilisation and conditioning, with high-efficiency, instant response time (less than half a cycle / 10ms), faultless output sinusoidal wave shape, independent regulation by phase, and high-inrush and high-current capability.

High-current rectifiers for military aircrafts

Sinepower’s latest high-current rectifier product can be used alongside GPUs and SFC, or by itself.

It consists of a robust AC-DC / DC-DC converter employing insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) and field-effect transistor (FET) technology and high-frequency isolation transformers to provide a reliable 28V_DC supply and crank current for the aircraft.

It has the ability to stand against inrush currents of up to 2400A and the high-frequency technology enables size reduction and perfect regulation.

Lift inverters for emergency power supplies in public buildings

Sinepower’s lift inverters are designed to supply power to emergency evacuation lifts when the mains power supply fails.

Lift inverters are to be used within all types of public buildings such as schools, libraries, hospitals, airports and offices.

Specialist ground power unit systems

Sinepower specialises in the design and manufacturing of DC chargers for static frequency converters (SFC’s) and ground power units for electrical vehicles, inverters and other electronic products.

Sinepower´s ground power unit (GPU) systems are our most recent addition to standard units.

Our GPUs ensure a secure, efficient and high-quality power supply to all aircrafts in hangar and / or ramp maintenance.

Units range from 30KVA up to 90KVA and we offer a wide range of options for various outputs.
